Bahrain’s Consul-General discusses cooperation with Najaf Governor

Baghdad, May 12 (BNA): The Consul General of the Kingdom of Bahrain in Najaf in the Republic of Iraq, Abdullatif bin Jassim Al-Sakran, today held a meeting with the Governor of Najaf, Dr. Majid Al-Waeli. During the meeting, they discussed ways to enhance tourism and investment cooperation between both countries, as well as facilitate the procedures for ratification and consular transactions submitted to citizens of both countries, including businessmen and investors. They also discussed the restoration of air traffic between Bahrain and Najaf international airports after the coronavirus pandemic, especially in light of the demand for visiting religious sites in Najaf. The Consul General of the Kingdom of Bahrain in Najaf expressed his pride in the close brotherly relations between the two countries, and the development and growth they are witnessing in various fields, appreciating the facilities provided by the Najaf Governorate to enhance the role of the consulate and its services, in a way that supports the common interests of both countries and peoples.
