AZERI AMBASSADOR IN EGYPT MEETS ARAB LEAGUE SECRETARY GENERAL
Baku, May 28 (AzerTAc). Azerbaijan`s Ambassador in Cairo Faig Baghirov has met Secretary General of the Arab League Amr Musa.
The Ambassador said Azerbaijan places a particular emphasis on development of relations with the Arab League.
Musa stressed the importance of expanding political, economic and cultural cooperation between the organization and the country.
The Nagorno-Karabakh conflict was also discussed, and Baghirov praised Arab countries` supporting Azerbaijan`s position on the issue.
Musa vowed the Arab League would continue backing Azerbaijan`s territorial integrity and sovereignty.
