The meeting was held in the presence of the Assistant Minister of Foreign Affairs of Japan, Nagaoka Kansuke, and the President and members of the Committee.
During the meeting, the Ambassador praised the efforts of the Committee in promoting cooperation and friendship relations between the two countries, especially in the parliamentary field, and its importance in activating cooperation agreements, bilateral memoranda of understanding, investment and cultural projects, and exchanging experiences in the fields of education, training, health, digital transformation and space sciences, which reflects the depth of the close ties between the two countries, since the first shipment of oil from Bahrain and the Arab region to Japan in 1934.
