President inaugurates development projects in Taiz

TAIZ, May 28, (Saba)-President Ali Abdullah Saleh inaugurated and
laid foundation stones on Thursday to 437 service and development
projects across Taiz governorate. These projects cost totally YR 47
billion.

These inaugurated projects include 42 projects in education field,
13 in health and population, 31 in public works and roads, 12 in
field of electricity, 20 projects in electric field. There also
three projects to sanitation, 43 in field of rural waters and two
for agricultural and irrigation sectors.

Tourist field has also new five projects, four for post, two for
industry and investment and two projects in field of youth and
sports.

While the projects to be constructed are, 25 in field of education,
31for public health and population, four for public works and roads,
38 for electricity, 11 for sanitation, seven for rural waters, two
for agriculture and irrigation, one for General Authority for
Tourism and another projects in field of sports youth and sports.

Projects of fishery wealth have reached 13, the first phase includes
establishing fishery port in Mocha, constructing an area for selling
fish by auction, management offices and a study to construct wave
breaker system.

These projects also include constructing ice factory in Dhobab area
with output of ten tons, constructing another similar one in Bab
al-Mandab, constructing fish- unloading system in Al-Jadid and
Al-Musafar area and five others in Wahjah and al- Kadaha, al-Urdhi,
Yakhtal, Azuhari and Myoun Island.
