Sabirov: Kyrgyzstan makes it a priority to create favorable conditions for investment

Bishkek, June 1, 2022. /Kabar/. The Kyrgyz capital city of Bishkek hosted on Wednesday the Kyrgyz-Emirati Business Forum as part of a visit of UAE Minister of Economy Abdulla Bin Touq Al Marri and Chairman of the UAE Chamber of Commerce Abdullah Mohamed Al Mazrouei to Kyrgyzstan.
The event was attended by leading companies from the United Arab Emirates and the Kyrgyz Republic in various sectors such as aviation, energy, trade, investment and industry.
The visiting delegation consisted of big UAE companies operating in all spheres of the economy, such as Mazdar, Wizz Air Abu Dhabi, Foody World Foodstuff Trading, Corodex Industries, United Food Company, Royal Strategic Partners and others.
Director of the National Investment Agency under the Government of Kyrgyzstan Ravshanbek Sabirov noted that Kyrgyzstan has created all conditions for investment and business.
"The National Agency pays special attention to such relations. Today will be a new chance to discuss our relations. Such events serve as an impetus for expanding relations. Kyrgyzstan has great investment opportunities, a convenient location, a silk road and a visa-free regime for 68 countries of the world. At the moment the republic makes it a priority to create favorable conditions for investments," Sabirov said.
He also added that earlier President of Kyrgyzstan Sadyr Zhaparov signed a relevant bill on protecting existing investors and attracting new ones.
The head of the Investment Agency also drew attention to the fact that investors in the republic have the right to obtain investment visas, and to stimulate and support the business sector, the state has taken various liberal steps.
"We are ready to increase the supply of meat, organic fruits and vegetables, honey and other products and products to the UAE. In addition, the state has clean drinking water. Kyrgyzstan provides granting of investor status for investors who have invested more than USD 10 million,” Sabirov said.
