China funds project of Sana'a Grand Library
SANA'A, May 29 (Saba)- A Chinese technical team is expected to
arrive in Yemen by end of this month to make geological survey for a
location determined to set up a project of the Sana'a Grand Library
funded by the Chinese government at sum between $30 to $40 million
Hisham Sharaf, deputy minister of planning and international
cooperation stated to 26September military weekly that the project
includes a big conference hall and stage in addition to library to
be cultural and book complex to serve cultural sector in the nation.
Sharaf said that the project reflects deep routed relations between
Yemen and China, adding that the China would fund a project of 22nd
May Hospital in Sana'a in addition to its funds for different
development projects in Yemen.
