Yemen making 'strides' in tourism security



SANA'A, May 29 (Saba) - Minister of interior Mutahar al-Masri has
discussed with Secretary-General of the Arab Interior Ministers
Council Mohammed Ali Kuman ways to boost tourism security and its
role in developing tourism in the Arab World.

At the meeting, al-Masri said Yemen was one of the first Arab
countries to set up the tourist police, pointing to strides the
country has made to develop its tourist security insinuations.

For his part, Kuman noted that tourism security has become an
important tool for tourism to flourish and bring in good revenues.
