Salt Production Plan Completed in DPRK

Pyongyang, June 15 (KCNA) -- Salt works under the Salt Industry Bureau of the DPRK carried out their national economic plans for the first half of the year ahead of schedule. The Kumsong Salt Works fulfilled its half-yearly plan by June 4. And the Yonbaek Salt Works completed its plan by directing efforts to the salt production based on underground ultra-saline water. Unha, Nampho and Namsi Salt Works rationally formed waterways from reservoirs to evaporating ponds and newly built reserve evaporating ponds to finish their economic plans. -0-
