Bahraini Amal Al Fardan bags medal in Pyeongtaek 2022 championship

Seoul, Jun 15 (BNA): Bahraini Amal Ali Al Fardan clinched the bronze medal in the 45-kilo category in The Asian Oceania Paralympic Open Weightlifting Championship "Pyeongtaek 2022", being hosted by South Korea Al Fardan dedicated her achievement to His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, HM the King’s Representative for Humanitarian Work and Youth Affairs, Supreme Council for Youth and Sports (SCYS) Chairman. She also dedicated her victory to HH Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa, SCYS First Deputy Chairman, General Sports Authority Chair and Bahrain Olympic Committee President and Bahrain Paralympic Committee Chairman Shaikh Mohammed bin Daij Al Khalifa. She expressed her delight at bagging the medal and honoring the Kingdom of Bahrain in the The Asian Oceania Paralympic Open Weightlifting Championship "Pyeongtaek 2022". Led by Bahrain Disabled Sports Association board member Nader Al Sheikh, the delegation includes technical director Eman Hassan , coach Hassan Al Durazi and athletes Amal Al Fardan and Ahmed Al Khayyat.
