IOCP commends Al-Ais evacuation experience, circulates

Riyadh, May 29, SPA --The Secretary-General of the International
Organization of Civil Protection (IOCP) Nawaf Al-Salibi hailed the
attention and unlimited support given by the Government of the
Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud
to the recently-quake-hit Saudi Amlaj province and Al-Ais center,
describing that as a clear sign of the care and attention given to
the citizens' safety and comfort.

In a press statement, the Secretary-General of IOCP commended
the right and wise instructions issued by Prince Naif bin Abdulaziz,
Second Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of the Interior, to
implement prompt and accurate civil defense measures to counter the
risks of seismic activity in the province of Amlaj and Al-Ais center
with the participation of all government agencies since the first
moments of reporting the incident by the Saudi Geological Survey
Authority.
