OIC Chief Ihsanoglu receives message of Hillary Clinton
Jeddah, May 30, SPA -- The Secretary General of the Organization of
the Islamic Conference (OIC), Professor Ekmeleddin Ihsanoglu, has
received a message from US Secretary of State, Mrs. Hilary Rodham
Clinton.
The message is a reply to Ihsanoglu's previous letter to Mrs.
Clinton, which dealt with the latest developments in Palestine in
general, and Al-Quds in particular, according to a latest press
release of the OIC.
In her message sent last Wednesday, the US Secretary of State
emphasized the U.S. administration's keenness to carry through the
peace process in the Middle East as a priority issue on the
administration's agenda.
Mrs. Clinton pointed out the importance of ensuring that all parties
meet their obligations in keeping with existing agreements and the
need to redouble efforts in a bid to resume the process of
peace-making in the Middle East.
