Kyrgyz FM meets with secretary general of Gulf Cooperation Council

Bishkek, June 22, 2022. /Kabar/. As part of an official visit to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA), Kyrgyzstan’s Foreign Minister Jeenbek Kulubaev met with Secretary General of the Cooperation Council for the Arab States of the Gulf (GCC) Dr. Nayef Falah Al-Hajraf.
The sides discussed issues of mutual cooperation and topical aspects of international and regional agenda, the press service of the Kyrgyz Foreign Ministry reported.
Jeenbek Kulubaev and Nayef Falah Al-Hajraf reaffirmed the readiness to cooperate on a wide range of issues, including through the development of inter-regional cooperation. The Kyrgyz minister noted the importance of political dialogue for preserving peace and sustainable development in the world community.
The parties agreed to continue work on implementation of the discussed issues including organization of mutual visits.
The Cooperation Council for the Arab States of the Gulf was established on May 25, 1981 and unites six states - the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, the United Aram Emirates, Qatar, Kuwait, Oman and Bahrain.
