IIRO continues assistance to the affected people in Gaza Strip
Jeddah, May 30, SPA -- The International Islamic Relief Organization
(IIRO) has continued to extend kind assistance including food
materials and medical supplies to the affected people in Gaza strip.
IIRO's Secretary General Dr Adnan Basha said the IIRO has extended
180 tons of kind assistance aboard 11 trucks within the framework of
the relief caravan operated by the Organization of Islamic Conference
(OIC).
He noted that medical supplies were sent to Gaza for meeting the
requirements of the hospitals in addition to quantities of sugar,
cooking oil, rice and other foodstuffs.
Dr Al-Basha pointed out that the IIRO realizing its responsibility
towards affected people in Gaza will send more assistance.
