Bahrain participates in NATO Food Security and Regional Stability Conference

Rome, June 29 (BNA): Bahrain's Ambassador to Italy Dr. Nasser Mohammed Al Balooshi participated in the NATO Conference “The relevant Alliance in a changing world” at the invitation of the President of the NATO Defense College Foundation Alessandro Minuto Rizzo. The ambassador addressed "Food Security and Regional Stability from a Southern Perspective" in the third panel discussion on "Food Security, Policies and the Private Sector". He highlighted the history of conflicts and political instability in the Middle East and North Africa and their impact on sustainable development and food security in the region.
