Fish Farming Brisk in DPRK

Pyongyang, June 30 (KCNA) -- A vigorous struggle for enhancing productivity is stepped up at the fish farming units across the country. The Sunchon Catfish Farm laid a foundation for raising the survival and growth rates of fry by establishing a feed additive production line. It is also conducting the work to breed new species of catfish in a right way. The Youth Tudan Breed-Fish Station extended the capacity of the Hermetia illucens breeding ground and manufactured a crusher enabling it to increase the quality of feed. The Sohung Poman Fish Farm has increased the production of fermented feed based on aboriginal microbe. The Kanggye City Breed-Fish Farm extended the capacity of pens to mass-produce protein feed conducive to the catfish production. -0-
