Renault Samsung's auto sales fall 12.8 pct in May

SEOUL, June 1 (Yonhap) -- Renault Samsung Motors Co., the South Korean unit of
French automaker Renault SA, said Monday its auto sales fell 12.8 percent in May,
hit by sluggish exports.

Renault Samsung, the second-smallest carmaker in South Korea, sold 15,391 units
last month with exports plunging 58.4 percent to 3,836 units, while domestic
sales jumped 37 percent to 11,555 units, the company said in a statement.
