Kyrgyzstan's foreign trade turnover amounts to USD 1.5 bln

Bishkek, July 12, 2022. /Kabar/. In January-May 2022, the volume of foreign and mutual trade in goods of Kyrgyzstan amounted to $1.5 billion, First Deputy Chairwoman of the National Statistics Committee of the republic Ainura Orozbaeva said during a briefing on Tuesday. In comparison with January-May 2021, the volume was increased by 45%, export supplies decreased by 4.1%, whereas import supplies increased 1.6 times. The volume of mutual trade of Kyrgyzstan with member states of the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) amounted to $ 1.5 billion and increased by 21.2% compared to January-May 2021. Meanwhile, exports increased by 49.7% and imports by 12.8%. The largest share of mutual trade of the republic with EAEU member states in January-May of this year fell to Russia - 68.6% and Kazakhstan - 29.3%.
