DOCUMENTARY ON AZERBAIJANI AND IRANIAN MUGHAM TO BE SHOT
Baku, June 1 (AzerTAc). A documentary film on the Azerbaijani and Iranian mugham music will be shot in late June. The documentary “Mugham” will consist of 13-series, each lasting for 30 minutes. The director of the film is Gulamrza Siyamizade.
The film will research the impact of Iranian mugham on the Azerbaijani mugham.
The main plot presents interview with the Iranian and Azerbaijani musicologists and mugham experts, mugham music and its comparison, the history of mugham.
