131 STUDENTS TO GET SOCAR SCHOLARSHIP
Baku, June 1 (AzerTAc). The 2nd stage of SOCAR scholarship competition wrapped up.
As a result of the first tour, 190 students could pass to the next tour where they were interviewed by the commission of the SOCAR employees.
As a result of the second tour, only 131 of students passed the exam and got opportunity to further receive the SOCAR scholarship.
SOCAR Scholarship Program serves for preparation of specialists according to requirements of the oil industry in Azerbaijan.
The high achievers will get opportunity to work in SOCAR and join SOCAR programs to get education abroad in future.
SOCAR has implemented a scholarship program since 2004-2005 academic years to prepare skilled young oil men and to encourage students to obtain modern scientific and practical skills in the oil sector.
