Indian injured in church blast in Nepal succumbs to injuries

Kathmandu, Jun 1 (PTI) An Indian woman, who sustained
serious injuries in a blast at the biggest church here last
week, died while undergoing treatment at a local hospital.

With the death of the 47 year old Grihalaxmi Joshi,
the number of those killed in the blast has reached three,
national news agency (RSS) said.

Joshi, a resident of Patna, was being treated at the
Patan Hospital after she sustained serious injuries when a
powerful bomb exploded at Catholic Assumption Church at
Dhobighat in Kathmandu on May 23.

Two Indian nationals, a teenaged girl (15) and a
woman (32) from Patna, were killed and dozen others sustained
injuries in the blast.

Hundreds of Christians on Sunday marched on the
streets of Kathmandu to register their protest against the
explosion and demanded stern action against the culprits. PTI
