Efforts Made in DPRK to Minimize Damage from Flooding and Typhoon

Pyongyang, August 16 (KCNA) -- The forestry sector of the DPRK pushes ahead with the work to minimize the damage from flooding and typhoon. The Ryanggang Provincial Forestry Management Bureau has taken proper measures to ensure the smooth timber production and carriage. Its production units dug ditches in both sides of forestry roads and built retaining walls to minimize the damage. The same is true of Jagang and North Hamgyong provincial forestry management bureaus. -0-
