AZERBAIJAN FM MEETS US SPECIAL ENVOY FOR EURASIAN ENERGY
Baku, June 2 (AzerTAc). Azerbaijan Minister of Foreign Affairs Elmar Mammadyarov today met with US Special Envoy for Eurasian Energy Richard Morningstar.
Morningstar said Caspian oil and gas exhibition in Baku was very well-organized. He stressed the importance of regional energy projects.
Mammadyarov touched upon the Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan oil and Baku-Tbilisi-Erzurum gas pipelines, saying Azerbaijan is interested in contributing to the European energy security.
They also exchanged views on Armenia-Azerbaijan conflict over Nagorno-Karabakh and the current situation in the region.
