TRANSCASPIAN-2009 EXHIBITION LAUNCHED
Baku, June 2 (AzerTAc). The 8th International Transport, Transit and Logistics Exhibition – “TransCaspian-2009” started at the Heydar Aliyev Sport-Concert Complex.
The exhibition is co-organized by Iteca Caspian LLC and ITE Group PLC Companies.
The exhibition brings together 37 companies from 7 countries, including Ukraine, Russia and Kazakhstan.
The main sections of the exhibition are: automobile transport, maritime transport, air transport, railway transport, railroads, intermodal traffic, logistics, delivery, loading-unloading equipment, ports/terminals, warehousing, navigable lines, shipbuilding, expedition of freight, transportation of oil- products, freight insurance, warehouse equipment, customs services and road-constructing machinery.
Deputy director of the Iteca Caspian LLC Bahruz Hidayatzade spoke of financial support by the government to improve transportation infrastructure of the country.
The exhibition was supported by Azerbaijan Ministry of Transportation, Permanent Secretariat of the TRACECA Intergovernmental Commission, Chamber of Trade and Industry and Azerbaijani Export & Investment Promotion Foundation (AZPROMO).
The “TransCaspian-2009” will end on June 5.
