SYRIA KEEN IN EXPANSION OF TRADE AND ECONOMIC COOPERATION WITH AZERBAIJAN
Baku, 3 June (AzerTAc). Syria is interested in expansion of trade and economic cooperation with Azerbaijan, stated the Minister of Foreign Affairs of this country Walid al-Muallem at the meeting with the Prime Minister of Azerbaijan Arthur Rasizade.
Speaking about the goal of the visit which is realized under the invitation of his Azerbaijani colleague, the Foreign Minister of Syria said that negotiations are carried on for preparation of visit of the President of Syria to Azerbaijan. He expressed hope that this visit will lay the foundation for development of mutually advantageous two-way communications in all areas.
The Prime Minister of Azerbaijan Arthur Rasizade, in turn, noted low level of economic relations between two countries. With that end in view, it is necessary to come into contacts between various departments of Azerbaijan and Syria, Rasizade underlined.
