SOCAR TO OPEN 15 NEW FILLING STATIONS IN GEORGIA
Baku, June 4 (AzerTAc). State Oil Company of Azerbaijan (SOCAR) plans to put into operation 15 new filling stations under SOCAR brand in Georgia in 2009, SOCAR President Rovnag Abdullayev said.
At present, SOCAR runs over 26 filling stations in Georgia through its subsidiary SOCAR Georgia.
He also noted that, the government has given approval to the opening of filling station chain branded “SOCAR”.
The company plans to launch 26 filling stations by this yearend.
