AZERBAIJAN LEADS IN CIS ON MAJOR SOCIO-ECONOMIC INDICES IN JAN-APR
Baku, 4 June (AzerTAc). Azerbaijan leads among the Commonwealth member countries on major socio-economic indices in Jan-Apr, the CIS inter-governmental statistics committee said.
In the period under review, the gross domestic product (GDP) in Azerbaijan made up 104,3 percent. Following Azerbaijan is Tajikistan (102,9%), Belarus (101,2%), Kyrgyzstan (100,5%), Armenia (90,3%) and Russia (90,2%).
In this period, the industrial production in Azerbaijan made up 100,5 percent. In Belarus, the mentioned indicator equaled 96,4%, while in Kazakhstan – 95,2%.
