MEETING OF HEADS OF PARLIAMENT ADMINISTRATIONS OF TURKIC SPEAKING COUNTRIES` PARLIAMENTARY ASSEMBLY MEMBER STATES LAUNCHED IN BAKU
Baku, 4 June (AzerTAc). Meeting of the heads of Parliament Administration of Turkic Speaking Countries` Parliamentary Assembly member states started on Thursday.
Addressing the meeting participants, head of Milli Majlis (Parliament of Azerbaijan) Administration Safa Mirzoyev told of significance of the event. He underlined that this conference would open a new page in history of the Turkic nations, strengthen the relations between Turkic states and nations and solve mutual problems.
Secretary General of Turkish Grand National Assembly Ali Osman Koca, Head of Kyrgyzstan Parliament Administration Suyumbek Kasmambetov and head of Administration of Kazakhstan Senate Serik Sidikov praised the significance of the event.
The participants discussed Charter of the Turkic Speaking Countries` Parliamentary Assembly, agenda of the meeting of Parliament Assembly, which is to take place in Baku, on September 2009. A memorandum of understanding among the Secretary Generals was also signed.
The guests familiarized themselves with the hall of memory to nationwide leader Heydar Aliyev in the building of parliament.
