MEETING ON “HIGH SPEED INFORMATION LINE WEST-EAST” PROJECT DUE IN BAKU, DEPUTY MINISTER

Baku, June 5 (AzerTAc). “A meeting at the level of ambassadors on “High Speed Information Line West-East” is scheduled to be held here soon. The event will bring together representatives form more 40 countries,” said Elmir Velizade, deputy minister of Communications and Information Technologies.
The project aims to construct HS information line that connects West Europe to the Pacific Ocean basin. The ministry considers that this highway, which runs to China and India through covering the countries of West Europe, CIS, Middle Asia, as well as Turkey, Iran, Afghanistan and Pakistan, can give an impetus to socio-economical development of the whole region, every country and world information exchange in whole.
