Yemeni-Saudi team to discuss goods flow

SANA'A, June 04 (Saba) - A Yemeni-Saudi Technical Commercial Team
will hold meetings next Saturday in Sana'a to discuss the goods flow
between the two countries.

The meeting to be co-chaired by Undersecretary of Transport Ministry
Ali al-Mota'afi and Saudi Undersecretary Trade and Industry Minister
Abdullah bin al-Homoudi will evaluate the implementation progress of
trade agreements between the two countries, several issues have been
agreed on previously and reviewing the difficulties deter the flow
of commodities between the two countries.

A source told the weekly 26 September the team would also discuss
facilities to speed up commodities' movement through border outlets
and would also discuss accelerating steps to operate the al-Wadi'ah
outlet.

The source said the Saudi official would discuss with counterpart in
the government a number of issues pertaining to trade and
agricultural cooperation between both countries and would hold
meetings with representatives of the Agricultural Cooperative Union
and agricultural exporters.

On the other hand, Chairman of the Agricultural Cooperative Union
Mohammed Bisher will discuss with Saudi delegation the idea of
establishing a Yemeni-Saudi joint company to transfer and exchange
agricultural exports between the two countries.
