VP: Talking on privatizing Aden's refinery is is baseless
ADEN, June 04 (Saba)- Vice President Abdu Rabo Mansour Hadi affirmed
on Thursday that talking on privatizing Refinery of Aden is
baseless.
"We know that Aden is the port , the airport and the refinery and
those who think of privatizing the refinery are those who have
privatization thinking " Hadi said.
Concluding the expanded sub-conference of the local authority in
Aden governorate, Hadi said that the local authority's conferences
represent a strong start towards a local governance of wide
authorizations.
He added that establishing the local councils is considered a third
revolution, demonstrating that the Yemeni revolution was the first
stone for the second revolution which is Yemen's unification.
Hadi confirmed that the local governance strategy aims mainly to end
the decentralization, combating corruption and correcting the
imbalances.
He noted that the local governance strategy will be discussed by
specialists and experts from Ministry of Local Administration and
the concerned authorities with World Bank to reach the desired goal.
Of course every governorate has its own concerns and all reports
will be achieved and put on the table of the Fifth Annual General
Conference of Local Councils to be transferred to effective
decisions, Hadi added.
Hadi concluded that Yemen's unity is realized to stay and it is in
the people's minds and it is the miracle of the twentieth century in
the Arab world.
