Ministry of Awqaf Launches a Quarterly Event Entitled "The Nation's Seminar" to Discuss Nation's Issues with a Group of Thinkers and Scholars

Doha, October 05 (QNA) - The Department of Islamic Research and Studies at the Ministry of Endowments (Awqaf) and Islamic Affairs announced the launch of a quarterly seminar called The Nation’s Seminar. It is a scientific, cultural, and intellectual seminar that discusses issues of society and the nation, with a group of thinkers, scholars and researchers. The first seminar will be held tomorrow evening in the hall of the Abdullah Bin Zaid Al Mahmoud Islamic Cultural Center. It will focus on the dialogue between cultures, with participation of a group of intellectuals. The seminar will also address an important historical aspect, represented in targeting cultural incubators and destroying libraries in the Islamic world, in a painful historical account that draws lessons, as well as shed light on a bright future to enhance cultural incubators. The Department of Islamic Research and Studies at the Ministry of Endowments (Awqaf) and Islamic Affairs invited the general public, researchers and intellectuals to attend the seminar. (QNA)
