With Qatar Participation...Second Edition of Gulf Youth Forum Wraps Up in Riyadh

Riyadh, October 06 (QNA) - The second edition of Gulf Youth Forum that was convened in the Saudi capital Riyadh with the participation of youth delegations from the State of Qatar and GCC states has wrapped up. The four-day forum discussed a wide range of themes, including the gulf identity between the current challenges and the joint elements, future of innovation in business, living and sustainability in GCC states. It also highlighted the features of the soft power related to gulf identity, its concept, significance and relation with public diplomacy and enhancing it in light of GCC states' vision and contributing to achieving it, future of innovation in businesses and importance of upgrading the youth capabilities, role of business sector in developing the small, medium scale and emerging programs in GCC states and prepare the youth cadres to further engage in international, local and regional forums, events and activities. In addition, the forum laid out numerous future ideas and visions in pursuit of overcoming the difficulties and hurdles that encounter youth, and came out with important recommendations that contribute to creating joint gulf programs and activities, emphasizing the empowerment of youth and creating the appropriate opportunities for them in congruent with their ambitions and interests.
