QNL Hosts Photo Exhibition Marking Anniversary of Establishing Qatari-French Relations

Doha, October 09 (QNA) - Qatar National Library (QNL) will host Tuesday a photography exhibition entitled "Qatar-France: 50 Years of Friendship". On the occasion of the 50th anniversary of establishing diplomatic relations between Qatar and France, the exhibition will showcase photographs taken during historical moments, which forged the now well-established tradition of cooperation between France and Qatar. This exhibition will take the visitors in a 50-year journey of bilateral relations in the political, economic, cultural, defense, security, and education fields. HE Minister of State and QNL President Dr. Hamad bin Abdulaziz Al Kuwari and HE Ambassador of the French Republic to Qatar Jean-Baptiste Faivre will deliver opening speeches. Qatar and France have several agreements covering various economic, political, cultural and scientific fields. In 2020, Qatar and France celebrated the cultural year between the two countries by organizing several joint cultural events. (QNA)
