Qatar's Minister of Municipality Participates in IOFS 5th General Assembly

Doha, October 11 (QNA) - HE Minister of Municipality Abdullah bin Abdulaziz bin Turki Al Subaie has participated Tuesday in the 5th General Assembly of the Islamic Organization for Food Security (IOFS) convened in Tunisia under the theme: "Partnerships for sustainable Food Security: Africa within OIC Geography" via videoconferencing. During the meeting, the State of Qatar has been elected as Chairman of IOFS's Executive Council for three years, which is a fruit of its policies and positions in the Islamic world, and a trust message relayed from the member states for the active role made by the State of Qatar towards the issues of Islamic nation. A broad range of topics included within the agenda were also discussed, including the progress made in executing IOFS's strategic programs, and the action plans on the strategic commodities and membership affairs.
