Doha, October 16 (QNA) - In their Sunday editorials, Qatari newspapers highlighted Turkish media coverage of HH the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani's important visit to the sisterly Republic of Turkey, where HH the Amir and HE President Recep Tayyip Erdogan co-chaired the 8th session of the Qatari-Turkish Supreme Strategic Committee.
Turkish newspapers also highlighted the training program organized by the Ministry of Public Health (MoPH) for practicing doctors and other specialties on basic occupational health services, as part of the Ministry's keenness to develop physicians' competency in the field of occupational health and maintain the highest levels of care in the workplace.
On the Arab arena, the newspapers denounced attacks, field executions and collective punishments against the Palestinian people, saying that these acts exceeded all red lines, for which the international community bears the largest share of responsibility, due to its silence and inability to implement the decisions of international legitimacy, which encourages the occupation to escalate their aggression and crimes against the Palestinians.
Al-Raya daily noted Turkish widespread media coverage of HH the Amir's recent visit to the sisterly Republic of Turkey, where HH the Amir and HE President Erdogan co-chaired the 8th session of the Qatari-Turkish Supreme Strategic Committee.
The paper pointed out that the Turkish media highlighted the 31st summit between the two leaders, and the sincere will and desire it reflects to deepen the strategic partnership between Doha and Ankara, noting the areas of cooperation in various fields that achieve the common interests of the two brotherly peoples. The paper stressed that the Qatari-Turkish relations are uniquely positive and effective, and are embodied in the convening of the Joint Supreme Strategic Committee regularly, which enhances the follow-up of what has been agreed upon and the exploration of new horizons to diversify and deepen joint cooperation.
The newspaper referred to a report by Anadolu Agency (AA) entitled "Turkey, Qatar.. 31 Summits and 80 Agreements in 8 Years" highlighting the agreements and memoranda of understanding signed by the two countries to strengthen their strategic relations in various fields, and stressing that the Qatari-Turkish summit is the 31st between the two leaders, which is a record number in the history of relations between both countries, and perhaps in the history of international diplomacy.
Daily Sabah, the largest and most widely circulated Turkish newspaper, considered that the visit of HH the Amir to the sisterly Republic of Turkey constitutes a new and important stage in the relations between the two countries, expecting that the important visit will represent a new starting point in the existing strategic relations between Qatar and Turkey. the paper said.
In turn, the government channel TRT highlighted in detail the agreements signed between Qatar and Turkey, while Khabar 7 website devoted a wide space to cover the visit, the meeting of the Supreme Strategic Committee and the agreements and memoranda of understanding signed by the two countries, noting that Qatar and Turkey have strong relations whose effects are reflected on many issues in the region and the world, the paper added.
Al-Raya concluded by saying that the meetings of the Qatari-Turkish Supreme Strategic Committee, since its establishment in 2014, have always been a rich material for Turkish media, as each meeting comes out with fruitful results embodied in a number of agreements and memoranda of understanding that enhance cooperation in vital areas.
In its editorial, Al-Arab newspaper said that an observer of the course of Qatari-Turkish relations will notice that they have been consolidated and moved to the level of partnership in all fields, noting that this partnership is considered a role model in relations between countries, especially as it culminated in 31 summits between the leaders of the two countries and 80 agreements within eight years, which is - according to what was considered by Turkish media reports - a record number in the history of relations between the two countries, and perhaps in the history of international diplomacy.
The strategic relations between both countries have developed during the past two decades in the military, political, investment, economic and tourism fields, and the friendship between them has turned into an exceptional fraternal relationship as a result of the great rapprochement at the level of the leaderships of the two countries and the two brotherly peoples and the common denominators between them, as well as the unlimited solidarity between them in times of crises, the unique rapprochement of viewpoints on many regional and international issues, and the harmony of political visions regarding many files, the newspaper underlined. The two countries also share political orientations that adopt dialogue, diplomacy and mediation efforts as a basis for security, stability, peace and the resolution of international and regional conflicts, the paper added.
The paper said that the relations between Doha and Ankara are expected to witness more consolidation, depth and coordination, in light of the growing roles of the two countries, which have emerged as influential players and powers on the regional and international arenas, noting both leaderships' keenness to push cooperation projects to broader horizons.
In conclusion, Al-Arab said that cooperation between the two sides is aimed at protecting the security and stability of the region as a whole, especially since the two countries have maintained their strong stances towards regional challenges they faced in recent years.
Under the title "Professional Protection", Al-Watan newspaper said in its editorial that the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022 will start after 35 days, and Qatar has a lot to offer to the world, including its leadership in the field of workers' welfare by applying global standards in workplaces and housing and promoting workers' health and safety.
In this regard the newspaper referred to the Ministry of Public Health (MoPH) organization of the training program for practicing doctors and other specialties on basic occupational health services, in order to increase and raise the efficiency of specialists in the field of occupational health, train doctors working in primary health care and develop the concept of maintaining the highest quality levels of health and safety in the workplace, in addition to enhancing the understanding of the doctor's role in managing and preventing the outcomes of occupational diseases and from accidents related to the environment.
The training program comes as a continuation of the training of doctors working in primary health care, as a group of practicing doctors and other specialties were trained during the past years from various authorities in the country, within the action plan to train medical cadres in the field of occupational health services, Al-Watan noted.
The newspaper concluded by saying that the Ministry of Public Health is currently preparing an integrated training program for 10 days in the same field in cooperation with the World Health Organization (WHO), with the aim of transferring and enhancing the level of knowledge of occupational health and occupational medicine to primary health care doctors. This is done in order to support and improve occupational health practices and provide the required services in the best way that exceeds even the approved international standards.
For its part, The Peninsula newspaper, stressed Sunday that the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022 will be more than a sport as it will be a major platform to correct wrong perceptions of Muslims, the Arab world and the Middle East, adding that the tournament will also give a huge boost to sports in the entire region.
Under the title "Profound Impact", the newspaper said not just the Middle East and the Arab World, the World Cup in Qatar will have a significant impact on the entire continent, adding that it will pave the way for other Asian countries to host more world class events. The hosting of just the second FIFA showpiece in the continent will also lift the sport further.

Al-Sharq newspaper condemned in its editorial the attacks by settlers, under the protection of the Israeli occupation forces, saying that the matter reflects an aspect of the comprehensive war that the Palestinian people are exposed to.
The paper said that the attacks, field executions and collective punishments against the Palestinian people exceed all red lines, for which the international community bears the largest share of responsibility, due to its silence and inability to implement the decisions of international legitimacy, which encourages the occupation to escalate their aggression and crimes against the Palestinians.
It stressed at the end that it is time for a strong stand by the Arab and Islamic nation and from all countries to support the Palestinian people, their legitimate rights, and their steadfastness to face the continuous aggression to which they are exposed, and to pressure the international community to put an end to Israel’s violations of international law and UN resolutions and end the occupation.
