QSE General Index Drops 0.55 Percent

Doha, October 19 (QNA) - General index of the Qatar Stock Exchange recorded today a decrease of 69.41 points, or 0.55 percent, to reach 12,652.71 points. During today's session, 134,494,156 shares were traded, with a value of QR 406,168,537.559 as a result of executing 13,169 transactions in all sectors. The shares of seven companies rose in the session, the shares of 33 other companies decreased, and six companies maintained their previous closing price. The market capitalization, at the end of the trading session, amounted to QR 705,278,619,562.350, compared to QR 710,163,992,815.230 at the previous session. (QNA)
