Works of 9th Session of Gulf and Arabian Peninsula Studies Forum Concluded

Doha, October 23 (QNA) - The Arab Center for Research and Policy Studies concluded the work of the Annual Gulf and Arabian Peninsula Studies Forum in its ninth edition, which addressed the topic of the repercussions of the Ukrainian crisis, and regional and international competition on the future of security and energy in the Gulf region. The forum activities, in which 23 researchers took part, started Saturday and continued until today, as the participants discussed the security and economic policies resulting from the Russian military operation in Ukraine, and the repercussions of the conflict between Moscow and Kiev. The participants also discussed in detail, in the seven sessions of the forum and in a public lecture, issues related to the repercussions of the Ukrainian crisis on global energy markets, energy security, inflation, climate change, food security, and other related topics.
