Yemen, WB, EU discuss fisheries projects

SANA'A, June 06 (Saba) - Minister of Fisheries Wealth Mohammed
Shamlan discussed on Saturday with the Projects Evaluation Mission
from World Bank (WB) and European Union (EU) the implementation
level of fisheries projects financed by WB in the coastal provinces.

The mission headed by WB officer of Rural Development, Water and
Environment in Sana'a Naji Abu Hatem presented a report on the
mission's visits to the provinces to be briefed on the working
progress in the WB-funded projects there as well as the difficulties
and how to overcome them.

Shamlan praised the efforts of WB and EU to develop the fisheries
sector in Yemen, affirming that the Ministry will work to overcome
all the difficulties that deter the implementation of the projects.
