Al-Alimi opens sub conference of Saada local councils

SANA'A, June 06 (Saba)- Deputy Prime Minister for Defense and
Security Affairs and Minister of local administration Rashad
al-Alimi attended on Saturday sub conference for Saada local
councils which will last for two days to discuss the national
strategy of the local ruling.

In the opening session, al-Alimi said that conveyed congratulations
of President Ali Abdullah Saleh for citizens of the governorate on
the 19th anniversary of establishing the republic of Yemen and
unification.

He said that such conference would discuss key issues in the
governorate especially those related to security and stability as
well as rebuilding affected regions and realize peace in the
governorate.

Al-Alimi affirmed importance of response for a call of President Ali
Abdullah Saleh to achieve peace and security in the governorate and
works of rebuilding.

He pointed out to form the follow up committee for president's
decisions to achieve peace in the governorate, withdraw military
units from villages and farms as well as adopt YR 10 billion for
rebuilding.

The deputy prime minister added that the conference should tackle al
differences and achieve security and stability which are key
elements of transferring to the local ruling.

He wished success for the conference and be a turning point for
supporting efforts of the peace committee in the governorate
