AZERI HUMAN RIGHTS COMMISSIONER TO ATTEND INTERNATIONAL OMBUDSMAN INSTITUTE WORLD CONGRESS
Baku. June 7 (AzerTAc). Azerbaijan`s human rights commissioner Elmira Suleymanova will attend the International Ombudsman Institute World Congress in Stockholm next week.
The meeting will focus on the role of ombudsman in protecting human rights and freedoms.
Key speakers will include President of the International Ombudsman Institute William Angrick, former UN chief Kofi Annan and UN High Commissioner for Human Rights Navanethem Pillay.
Suleymanova will also make remarks at the meeting.
