Yemen discusses trade cooperation with Syria, Turkey and Pakistan
SANA'A, June 07 (Saba)-Minister of Industry and Trade Yahya
al-Mutawakel held a meeting on Sunday with the Syrian ambassador to
Sana'a Abdul -Ghafor al-Saboni arrangements for holding the meeting
of the higher Yemeni Syrian committee that would be held by end of
this month in Damascus capital of Syria co-chaired by prime
ministers of both countries.
They also discussed aspects of the mutual cooperation between the
two countries in fields of economy and investment, and means of
boosting this cooperation as well as role of the Yemeni Syrian
businessmen council.
They also discussed possibilities of setting up permanent
exhibitions for products of both countries.
Meanwhile, al-Mutawakel discussed with the Turkish ambassador to
Sana'a Mohammed Donmaz horizons of the trade ties between Yemen and
Turkey and means of developing the joint investments to serve common
interests of both nations.They affirmed important role of the
private sector in both countries to enhance trade and investment
relationships between the two countries.
Al-Mutawakel pointed out to the promising opportunities of
investment in Yemen in different sectors and features and facilities
granted for investors.
He highlighted notable progress of the trade exchange between Yemen
and Turkey.
On the other hand, the minister also held talks with the charge de
affairse of Pakistani embassy in Sana'a Ahmed Ali over commercial
ties between the two countries.
They affirmed importance of activating signed agreements of exports
between the two countries especially agricultural exports.
