Qatar's National Cyber Security Agency Organizes NIA Training Program

Doha, November 01 (QNA) - The National Cyber Security Agency (NCSA) organized a training program entitled 'Certified Auditor of the National Information Assurance (NIA)' which lasted for three days, in order to ensure the enhancement of the capabilities of audit service providers in the field of information security and institutions wishing to obtain the certificate of compliance with the standards of NIA, in the presence of a group of experienced auditors in information systems and information security from international audit firms operating in the State of Qatar, and a group of internal auditors and experts in the field of information security. The training included an overview of the National Information Security Compliance Framework (NISCF) and the various services available therein. It also included a presentation of the NIA and the related certificate of compliance, as well as the requirements and approach of the NISCF audit standard with exercises and examples for planning, implementing, and completing NIA compliance audit reports. Following the training, an exam was conducted to obtain the audit certification of the NIA. (QNA)
