HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister meets with the President of the United Arab Emirates

Sharm El-Sheikh, Nov. 7 (BNA): His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, today met with the President of the United Arab Emirates, HH Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, at the 2022 United Nations Climate Change Conference (COP27), held in Sharm El-Sheikh, Egypt. HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister emphasised the strength of the historical relations between Bahrain and the UAE, which build on the unwavering support of both His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, and His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the President of the United Arab Emirates. His Royal Highness emphasised the Kingdom’s commitment to further strengthening cooperation with the UAE in various fields, including unifying efforts to combat climate change and preserve environmental security. During his visit to Bahrain’s pavilion, HH Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed was briefed on Bahrain's initiatives to address climate challenges and capitalise on promising opportunities to attract investment in renewable energy.
