Yemen, KSA agree to find out solutions over obstacles in customs
SANA'A, June 07 (Saba)-The Yemeni-Saudi technical committee affirmed
in its 7th meeting on Sunday importance of finding out solutions for
problems in customs outlets of both countries
At its closing session, the committee agreed in finding out unified
measures to make movements of goods between the two countries easy.
The minute of the meeting insisted on importance to contact between
the concerned bodies in both countries to organize exhibition,
conferences and symposiums on products in both courtiers and offer
all facilities in this regards.
The minute was signed by the deputy minister of transport Ali Matafi
from Yemeni side in the committee and deputy minister of trade and
industry Abdullah bin Abdul Rahman al-Hamoudi from the Saudi side.
The Yemeni side made it clear that Yemen authorized a Yemeni private
company to organize an exhibition "Made in Yemen" to be held soon in
kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
The Saudi side said that 86 percent of works in setting up x-ray
system for containers in the outlets have been achieved.
The two sides highlighted good level of the cooperation between the
private sectors in the two countries in setting up several joint
projects in both countries as there are 340 joint projects in Saudi
Arabia and 109 in Yemen until end of last year.
