Qatar to Play with Oman in U-23 WAFF Championship

Jeddah, November 08 (QNA) - Qatar will play Wednesday against Oman in the West Asia Football Federation (WAFF) U-23 Men Championship in Saudi Arabian city of Jeddah. The match to be held at King Abdullah Sports City venue is Qatar's second in Group A encounter in the championship due to run through Nov. 15 with the participation of six teams. Qatar's debut in the tournament on Nov. 3 ended in a goalless draw with Lebanon. Leaders Oman defeated Lebanon 4-2 in the same group. Bruno Miguel's men seek victory in Wednesday's match to qualify for the knockout stage. (QNA)
