HASHIMOV DRAWS TO REMAIN AT TOP

Baku, 8 June (AzerTAc). Azerbaijani chess grandmaster Vugar Hashimov has strengthened his grip at the top of an international tournament in memory of world ex-champion Anatoly Karpov in Surgut, Russia, with a fifth round draw against Israeli Emil Sutovsky.
Hashimov who has 4 points shared the leads with Russian grandmaster Alexander Motilev.
