Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of State for Defense Affairs Inspects Readiness of Amiri Naval Forces to Secure FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022

General- Qatar Doha, November 10 (QNA) - HE Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of State for Defense Affairs Dr. Khalid bin Mohammed Al Attiyah, visited Umm Al Houl Naval Base to inspect the readiness of the Amiri Naval Forces to participate in securing the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022. During the inspection tour, His Excellency listened to a briefing about the readiness of the marine component in securing the tournament. His Excellency also visited the National Security Shield Center, as part of his inspection of the units participating in securing the tournament. His Excellency was accompanied during the tour by HE Chief of Staff of the Armed Forces Salem bin Hamad bin Aqeel Al Nabit, HE Advisor to the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of State for Defense and Security Affairs Major General (Pilot) Mohammed Abdullatif Al Mannai, who is also Chairman of Ministry of Defense's Executive Committee for FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022, and HE Commander of the Joint Force to secure the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022 Major General Saeed bin Hussain Al Khayarin, and a number of ranking officers at the Armed Forces.
