Qatar, South Korea Discuss Boosting Parliamentarian Relations

Doha, November 24 (QNA) - HE Chairman of the Qatari-Korean Parliamentary Friendship Group in the Shura Council Ahmad bin Hitmi Al Hitmi met Thursday with HE Chairman of the Culture, Sports and Tourism Committee in the National Assembly of the Republic of Korea Hong Ihkpyo and HE Member of the National Assembly of the Republic of Korea Ryu Ho-jeong, who are currently visiting the Country. During the meeting, they discussed parliamentarian relations between the two countries and ways to enhance them. The two Korean parliamentarians praised the State of Qatar's efforts in organizing the exceptional FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022, affirming that these sporting events contribute to cultural communication and enhance the rapprochement between peoples.
