Doha, December 01 (QNA) - Croatia advanced to the round of 16 at FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022 as Group H runners-up following a goalless tie with Belgium on Thursday in the final group stage fixture at Ahmed bin Ali Stadium. This draw raises Croatia's tally to five points to move forward to the knockouts along with the group leaders Morocco who bagged seven points following a 2-1 victory over Canada. Belgium who finished third with four points were eliminated along with fourth-placed Canada who received three straight losses. Croatia are set to clash with Group E leaders in the round of 16 on Tuesday. Group E includes Spain, Germany, Costa Rica and Japan. (QNA)
