Qatar 2022: Mbappe Aims for World Cup Title, Not Golden Ball or Golden Boot

Doha, December 04 (QNA) - Kylian Mbappe, French national football team star, said that he came to Doha to win the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022 title and not to win the Golden Ball award for the best player or the Golden Boot for the tournament's top scorer. "The only thing I dream is this. I came here to win this World Cup. I didn't come here to win the Golden Ball or Golden Boot. If I win it of course I'm going to be happy but that's not, why I'm here. I'm here to win and I'm here to help the French national team," Mbappe said after France's 3-1 victory over Poland in the round of 16. "When I didn't speak to the media in the early rounds of this competition, it was because I just needed to focus on tournament and my football. When I want to concentrate, that's how I function, but when I was told the French Federation would be fined, I paid it myself because it was my responsibility. "But I am here and focused on winning the World Cup again. We're a long way from achieving our objective of going all the way and winning World Cup, though.
